Errigal View Pet Zoo - Bad experience at Errigal pet farm

As a grandmother of a four year old girl I was looking forward to our trip to the Errigal view pet farm, my daughter also joined us. I had previously went to the pet farm the week before to makes inquires about what was on offer. We arrived but they didn't have card facilities because they only had opened in March, which was understandable. I asked the woman at the reception if there was a cash point nearby and left again to get cash. We drove to Bunbeg had lunch and returned later with cash my daughter treated us by paying the fee and we continued around the petting farm. I met a man whom I presume was the owner and we talked about the animals, I must add he was a lovely person to talk to. We then made our way back to the reception as we were passing the same woman that served us was sitting outside when she saw me she jumped up and accused me off not paying the entrance fee, I explained that we did she then said you were in earlier wanting to pay with a card, I agreed with her and called my daughter over to verify that we had paid. The woman then said we have people coming in here and not paying I told her I wasn't one of them. She half heartily apologised , at this stage I was very upset and humiliated as another woman sitting near witnessed everything, and my little grandchild was listening and didn't know why she couldn't continue to the bouncy castle. I then followed the woman at the reception in to the building she was dealing wit a man and woman I suggested that in future she might give tickets out to people and this incident wouldn't happen. On that the man that was standing joined in and told me she has apologised what more do you want I explained that it would be better for other people he then said well the locals will support them. I not only was accused of being dishonest but now this man had turned on me. I then decided we should leave as I was in tears and my little grandchild was getting upset. I would like to add that I have travelled a lot and have never been accused of being dishonest. What should have been a memorable day for a grandmother her daughter and granddaughter turned out to be a very upsetting even and is still annoying me. I would advise other visiting Errigal petting farm to be aware that they too could end up like us. I feel that the woman at the reception could have handled the situation more professionally and delicately.
