Ramnos Cafe - To be avoided, great view, extremely bad service, nothing special...

Ramnos Cafe, Lefkes, Paros In the otherwise beautiful artistic village of Lefkes, on the Greek touristic island of Paros, you'll find the best and the worst. Sadly enough we picked the wrong place and saw our evening ruined by this mediocre cafe, that seduced us by what we thought a charming location. After having waited long enough to get a nice spot and then been ignored by the service all because I addressed them in English (I'm sorry but my Greek really isn't good enough), her annoyance that instead of moving to a table inside with 27 degrees, we actually preferred to stay in our table outside to enjoy the view, was delivered with being ignored by the staff for most of the evening, mediocre food, an unwelcome feeling, extreme bad manners and at the end, when I really wanted to tell them how this turned out to be the worst experience I had in a long time, she plainly told us "they" didn't need our business, and if we could leave? This for an island that mainly gets that same business from tourism, is somehow misplaced! So no, let me advise you to pass this place and find several equally well located terrace cafes in this charming village, and spare yourself this inhospitable Ramnos Cafe, where they'll shove you from your place or "make you leave" if "in their eyes", more important people want your spot, it's really not worth your money, attention, or spoiling your otherwise pleasant stay with.
