An unfortunate end to what had begun as a good experience with Ted Kurz. I'd be very careful about his selection of trades he contracts out. From the words of Ted himself "you pay what you get". Not sure what the going rate for inexperienced carpenters however i was charged $50/hour. Ted said he charges $65/hour and works much faster and has experience. I would have happily paid the extra $15/hour than have to send one of his contractors away for the slow, unfinished and substandard work he left me with and had to pay him for his time!! I stupidly paid Ted Kurz for all work including a job Ted himself was suppose to return and finish and to true form once the money was in his hands and gone, i receive a text message saying he will not be finishing the job as quoted and paid for.
