Astwood Bank's Pastafarian Ministry is the official residence of the Reverend Robert Hitchcock. The first ordained Pastafarian Minister in the British Midlands, having been sworn in at a ceremony presided over by the living prophet, Bobby Henderson on 9th March 2015. At present, UK law forbids Pastafarian marriage ceremonies as an Act Of Parliament states which religious leaders can officiate Reverend Bob is currently in negotiations with the Government to attempt enlightenment and obtain the same rights and privileges offered to other religious leaders, specifically in the enlightened Commonwealth country of New Zealand. The Act was passed before Pastafarianism was a recognised religion. With over 11 Million members in 2016, Pastafarianism is the fastest growing carbohydrate based religion in the world.
