We had booked a golden villa with M.K. Paphos Luxury Villas LTD. It looks very nice in the pictures, but in reality it doesn't look like it at all. We arrived at 10 pm. The owner had said he would not be present in the evening so the key was ready in a key box. Upon entering, only the ground floor had some lighting working. Not at all on the first floor. Called Marios, the owner, he couldn't come by but I had to look with the light of my phone for the fuse boxes scattered throughout the garden, ground floor and first floor. When the lighting everywhere worked, the disappointment was great, Lamps that were broken or with the wrong plug. Equipment with wrong plug so not usable. The sofa where a leg had broken off. Everything else was dirty, the curtains were almost black, there were dead insects everywhere, the bathroom was full of mold. The banister was so broken that my wife almost fell down because a part came loose. It has not been maintained in at least 3 years and has not been cleaned for months Called the owner again, he was angry that we called him in the evening and he would come by the next morning at 10: 00. We then left for a hotel. The next day Marios came by and he thought everything was rubbish, he was aggressive and intimidating. He said we were too demanding. We wanted our money back but that was out of the question. He offered us another house, but during the viewing it was only worse. You think you are renting a luxury home, but this turns out not to be the case. The photos also show this. Think before you book a house here and do not pay in advance but first show the house before you pay otherwise you will lose your money.
