Jecson Medical Hospital - Disappointed with your ICU and attending physicians

My mother-in-law (Malaya Yuzon) was admitted to your ICU for pneumonia on 23 Jun 2017 and finally released by her attending physician after 17 days in ICU. Released only after the family demanded that she be released because no signs of improvement or recovery was achievable. Dr Tuquero was her attending physician. She also stated that she may possibility pass on her way home if released. However, she also said that the patient should stay for 3 additional days. Why? My mother was 99 years of age. After her attending physician treated her with several types of anti-biotic without any sign of recovery or at least signs of improvement of her condition, she continued writing prescriptions almost everyday costing unbelievable amount for different types of anti-biotic. Each time the family is being informed that more or different and stronger antibiotics is needed. This was stated after we were already informed that the strongest anti-biotic was already given to the patient without signs of improvement. I became suspicious as to why this treatment of anti-biotic without any sign of improvement was continued by her attending physician. My mother was palliative but the attending physician continued with this type of treatment. Again, I ask why? Dr Lopez, ICU doctor who I spoke with stated that chances of recovery was not very good, although, their are some options (more anti-biotic) was available. We agreed since she has only been in the hospital for a week at this time. Another ICU female doctor, Dr Beverly Arquelada who I spoke to on the phone after my mother has been in ICU for over two weeks, when I asked if their was any chance of recovery, her response to me was I quote "she is not God, just doctors". I guess thats what she learned in10 yrs of medical school. Unbelievable!! I know she is not God. Thank you. No compassion for the patient or family what-so-ever. If you need to respond to this, I have provided my name and email.
