We rented this six bedroom luxury home for a week for our entire family, we also asked and paid for extras including a cot for an infant and pool towels. On arrival Saturday afternoon, the cot was found to be broken so we rang the contact number which basically told us that unless it was an emergency they would only be contactable during office hours on Monday, but if it was an emergency call 000. The end result was that we had to go out and purchase a new cot. The dishwasher in the kitchen did not work and with 13 people having just the one working dishwasher was an inconvenience, we reported it on the Saturday by leaving a message and again on Monday, with a repairer finally turning up on Thursday telling us he could not fix it and we had one day left of our stay. The house was in good shape and perfect for our purposes, but the pool was freezing, attached to the controls was a note saying that if any of the controls were altered it would result in a $350 fine, clearly the claim that it is heated refers to solar heating, which was either not turned on or totally inadequate, despite weather of 20+ all week the pool was unusable and there was no way to warm even the spa, a massive disappointment to the children. There were several notices around the house, all stating penalties for actions including, a fine for changing the Air Conditioning/Heating controls up to eviction for being too noisy, it felt more like we were staying in a remand home than a holiday house. The entertainment system was good but convoluted despite instructions, and a lot of these issues could have been sorted with a meet and greet. When we finally were able to speak to the agent we were told they operate many homes and a meet and greet was not an option, but I am guessing they do not have many homes in this price range and complex nature. All in all, a nice house, but an unpleasant experience, that I would put mainly down to the Agent and I hope the owners read this and do something about it.
