Club Vitae - Cardiff Lane Dublin Docklands - Dangerous equipment-Avoid this Gym

Extremely Dangerously Damaged Lat-Pulldown in this Gym. It is a Tort Lawyers paradise. I have been a member of Club Vitae for over 3 years (simply & only believe me, only because I work literally inches away across the road) and the Lat-Pulldown machine in this gym has been seriously very dangerously malfunctioning all along. For 3 years management keep saying to members "it will be fixed or replaced shortly-we promise" but it never has been replaced. People are literally risking breaking their neck or slipping one or probably more than one spinal discs or at the very least getting whiplash from this extremely dangerously damaged Lat-pulldown machine. This could literally cripple you. You have been warned. The equipment generally is generally old, squeaky and as you use machines they catch jerk, stop and re-start as you use them causing havoc on your joints. It is seriously junk-yard stuff but Club Vitae have not made any effort to protect their members & users by keeping it. Such gym machines are a lot less expensive than paying out compensation for injuries and Clayton Hotels are worth billions. But there is no awareness of this by the management. I would avoid this gym like the plague unless you want to risk a life threatening injury on seriously dangerous equipment. There are several other properly equipped gyms close by instead. In fact almost next-door and down on Pearses Street too.
