Ultra High Frequencies - DSTV Con ARTIST

On the 24th January 2019, my 2 x PVR decoders that I had for 7 years were damaged by a lighting strike. My insurer requested a damages report, which I got the following day from Multichoice and on the 28 January, my insurer said that I must go and purchase 2 x Explora 3 decoders. I did so at Hi Fi Corporation, but when I got home the fittings were different from my previous PVR's. I contacted Jeremy Perumal referred someone else and he came through and immediately started talking about all sorts of things that I now needed to make this all work.. Eventually he replaced my LNB with a smart one ?, installed 1 x RF modulator and other connected the decoders. No wiring was need to be run as all was still in order. Charged me R3,120.00 , did not provide me with an invoice. My insurer questioned the high installation cost and I subsequently phoned 4 random accredited Multichoice technicians and explained what installation was required and all equipment used. They all quoted between R1,700.00 and R2,000.00, the same as my insurer had suggested. He charged me R699.00 for a smart LNB, R399.00 to bypass existing cables ??, R250.00 to screw 4 screws on the back of my new TV to the wall bracket, R577.19 for programming ?, R342.00 call out fee, R356.99 for labour. When I confronted him today 31 January he refused to budge on his price , refund me and get my system to what it had been like before the damage to the PVR's. he is a CON ARTIST OF NOTE. BEWARE!!! I HAVE REPORTED HIM TO MULTICHOICE AND AWAIT THEIR FEEDBACK.
