Slade Park oval caters for clubs of all ages from all over the Central Coast as well as from Sydney. It is poorly drained, it remains soggy during winter and closed to training and competition after heavy rain.It seems to have a depression in the center. The facilities surrounding the park in excellent. BBQs and picnic tables some some with shelters. The edge of Budgewoi Lake which used to be popular with photographers are now covered with sapling of she-oaks.This area should be kept clear and advertised as Vista-points to attract locals and tourists. Roadways to the jetty needs attention and dead branches of trees in the reserve ought to be removed.
