Lived here for a year and was one of the worst years of my life. It's a terrible place to try to study, with a toxic culture drenched in alcoholic excess every week. Since everything is alcohol-oriented, you realise so much of your college fees are subsidizing the debauchery of others. Many occassions I was woken at night by drunken morons banging on every door in the college and people running around on the roof of the building - I swear I'm not making this up! The culture tends to be non-inclusive to non-caucasians and/or non-drinkers and does nothing to encourage scholastic achievement. It's so bad that I can imagine many young people not ever telling their parents how bad it is. It's mainly a bunch of country hicks free from their parents for the first time in their lives who don't now how to handle the freedom and responsibility.
