I have got to say my experience has been nothing but awful and stressful with Unilodgers. From the very start of me booking my accommodation they were feeding me lies and lies and more lies until now, approaching the end of my tenancy. Chandrika Jain who claims to be my "accounts manager" have not done anything but give me a migraine. She initially told me I will receive 50% cutback from the fees I paid to a UK Guarantor service which I had to sign up for. I trusted her and later found out it was only 20%. Not only was I so upset about this but even my father had to get involved and stress his disappointment to her. Then, she kept telling me I will receive my shopping voucher in March. At the end of March I called and she said it will be out by the end of that week. After that week ended, she said few more days. Now we're coming to the end of June. I've been emailing her about this and she hasn't reply. To be ignore regarding this situation I personally find so frustrating and rude and shouldn't be done no matter what. I even spoke to another lady, Aparna, who said she will try to resolve this matter for me and get back to me. Obviously, she did not. Complaints aren't taken seriously at Unilodgers. This service shouldn't even exist in my opinion because they only cause problems promising students that they are working hard to resolve these issues but never get back to you. Unilodgers use words like UNILODGERS EXCLUSIVE OFFERS on their website. Claiming you are entitled to shopping vouchers when you refer a friend or when you book with them but this is done for the purpose to attract students to using their website ONLY. Facebook reviews are bias as most of them are 5* because they are reviewed by the people who work there. I have never used a service as disgusting as this. Unilodgers is nothing but a disgrace. They hide behind telephones and sell you lies to get their name out there. There is not a slightest chance of me using Unilodgers again. I will warn my fellow friends and students to get the word out there that this accommodation service is nothing but a scam.
