Unfortunately like all beautiful places in South Africa the gardens are used as a toilet for dogs by dog owners. There is nothing quite as upsetting as the selfishness of dog owners who seem hellbent on destroying every beautiful space we have by using these spaces as toilets for their dogs. Going to these places often means having children and indeed yourself plunging in dog faeces. Dog faeces are dangerous to children's health. If dog owners do not want their dogs to poo in their own yards why do they assume it is ethical and acceptable to take them out to defeacate in public spaces? Doesn't dog ownership come with some measure of private responsibility?
