Bunnings Head Office - accessibility for disabled

Today I visited Bunnings at Browns Plains. I suffer from Asthma and emphysema. As I needed to go to the plant section. I parked in the disabled spot outside the outdoor plant area. The person on the gate refused me entry. when i explained where i was parked and why i wanted to access the store from there, she replied , no you have to go in via the entrance. This is the first time this has happened to me. In the past, and at other stores, the people have allowed me to enter, because it is obvious that I have a breathing problem. I did walk down to the entrance and told the lady there what had happened, she said the person should have made allowances and let me in. After going in the entrance, i than had to walk all the way back to the plant area. I believe you need to educate your staff to make allowances for people such as myself. And whoever that "lady" was, I didn't get her name, but my wife even commented on how rudely she spoke.
