We chose AllTransport Tour Operator - from 5 different agencies we got offers from - because Richard made the most professional impression on us when it came to mountaineering including acclimatization. Richard responded very well to our ideas without simply accepting them immediately. He really advised us, justified his suggestions and showed us various alternatives with their respective merits. That was convincing, especially compared to the other agencies, who mostly simply lined up the standard building blocks according to our wishes. In order to negotiate a good price with him, we immediately accepted the offer for the 3 mountaineering weeks and then booked them, of course after a bit of price negotiation. Richard has said from the beginning that we can still keep the program flexible and we will react depending on how quickly and well our acclimatization is going. And it is precisely from this flexibility that we benefited greatly over the course of the 3 weeks. After we were on the Huayani Potosi, a persistent virus caught us. So we had to postpone Illimani and Sajama as well. Richard immediately accepted the cancellation of the mountaineering tours and then organized the alternative tours to the Pampas, the jungle and then Machu Picchu and Cusco. Since I still had 2 weeks left and my infection had healed to some extent, I added an extended Uyuni volcano ascent round. All in all, one has to say that everything was really perfectly organized. No matter where we arrived, "a contact person found us quickly" and took us to the hotel, boat, jeep or just to take a shower, gave us our tickets or tour vouchers. Based on these experiences, we can definitely recommend AllTransport Tour Operator. Especially if you want to go to the slightly higher Bolivian mountains.
