I had lunch in the Halkett today between some meetings and it was excellent. The landlord and landlady were very friendly and welcoming, the beer was great, and my fish finger sandwich and chips was perfect. There was sport on the TV’s and they turned one over so I could watch the cricket. Quick service, and very professional. A proper pub which I would definitely visit again!
