Miss noy Motorbike and Tourist - European prices in Laos

Following the suggestion of the Guesthouse, I went to Miss Noy to rent a scooter. At the reception is her husband Yves, French (or Belgian), who keeps a briefing every afternoon at 6pm on two possible tours along the Bolaven plateau. To my request that I simply wished to rent a scooter, he replied that first he had to do the daily briefing for the people who had booked in the afternoon. After 45 minutes, he takes note of everyone's name and collects their passports without any receipt or price information. I asked for the possibility to take possession of the scooter immediately because I planned to leave very early the day after in the morning but he replied that he can only deliver it to me the next morning at 08.30 and that there is no need to leave early anyway because the waterfalls are cold in the early morning (maybe he has to leave to the customer the opportunity to judge about the temperature of the waterfalls) So I picked up the scooter at 08: 30 in the morning and returned it the next day at 10: 30 in the morning. Hence for a total of 24 hours + 2 hours, he charged me for two entire days at the price of 220, 000 Kip per day, when in the rest of Laos and then traveling to Pakse itself I saw prices between 120/150, 000 Kip. I recommend asking for prices first and taking a look around because I realized that there are lots of motorbike rental centers in the city of Pakse within walking distance of each other.
